Come to the Public Safety Expo at Artesia Park, 18750 Clarkdale Avenue, on February 20 from 10am - 2pm. Thrill to freestyle BMX bike demonstrations. Get an up-close look at the jaws of life, the search and rescue trucks, and the SWAT vehicles used by the LA County Sheriffs and Fire Department. Be amazed by the K-9 search demonstration, or find your new best friend at the pet adoption event being held in conjunction with World Spay Day.
The Public Safety Expo will also feature a low-cost pet vaccination clinic; call in advance for details. Youth who participate in the safety passport, including completing the bike safety course, will be entered to win bicycles and other prizes.
