On Wednesday, June 5, the City of Artesia hosted a Community Coyote Workshop at the Albert O. Little Community Center in conjunction with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control, and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. At the workshop, residents had the opportunity to learn about coyotes, management and deterrent techniques, and how to respond to coyote issues from the City and representatives from the Sheriff, Animal Control, and Fish and Wildlife.
