Monetary Assistance Available for Community Non-Profit Organizations

The City of Artesia recognizes the value that non-profit organizations have in providing services that benefit the community.  The City has implemented a Community Benefits Grant Program to provide monetary assistance to eligible community non-profit organizations to support their efforts to provide social, educational, and cultural services to Artesia residents. In order to be eligible for funding, organizations must fulfill eligibility criteria of the program and complete an application.  Grants are awarded in maximum amounts of $500 per organization, with a total of $2,500 to be awarded this fiscal year (FY 2022-2023).  Applications are currently being accepted through Wednesday, February 15.  All applications will be reviewed to determine which projects best meet the social service and cultural program needs of the City.  Those organizations selected for funding are presented to the City Council for approval of awards.  Please call 562-865-6262, Ext. 261 with any questions.
