The YAL program aims to provide a safe and supportive environment where youth can engage in a variety of activities that promote personal growth and community involvement. These activities include educational support, recreational sports, arts and crafts, and life skills development. The program is staffed by the City of Artesia Parks & Recreation Department, as well as Lakewood Station Sheriff's Deputies, who serve as positive role models and mentors.
This program is a valuable opportunity for youth in the Artesia community to engage in positive activities that foster personal development and strengthen community bonds.
Currently the program does not offer transportation to and from school, but we have plans to do so in the near future! Stay tuned for more information soon!
