Artesia Express- Dial-A-Ride Service
Artesia Express Complimentary Dial-A-Ride Taxi Cab Service
Artesia contracts with Fiesta Taxi/Dial-A-Ride to provide a free local transportation service to Artesia residents who are 60 and over or who are disabled.
Transportation is available Monday-Friday 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Transportation is unavailable on the following holidays:
- New Years Day
- 4th of July
- Memorial Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day

The taxi service will pick up and drop off anywhere between the boundaries of Rosecrans Ave. (North), E. Carson St./Lincoln Ave. (South), Valley View St. (East), and Bellflower Boulevard (West). Any areas outside the boundaries would be charged directly to the rider.

Dial-A-Ride will also take Artesia passengers to various satellite locations at no additional cost during service hours. These locations are:

Dial-A-Ride Registration
Prospective applicants must be age 60 or older or disabled and must be City of Artesia residents and actively live in the city. Applicants will need to have the following documents at time of registration:
- A completed Artesia Dial-A-Ride Registration form - forms can be downloaded here: Dial-A-Ride Registration Form
- California ID/Driver's License with an Artesia address
- Utility Bill with Applicant's name and same Artesia address found on their ID
- A passport style photo of the applicant's face - a digital photo is preferred
Participants can bring their completed forms and documents to the Artesia Park office or they can email them to the Parks & Recreation Department at recreation@cityofartesia.us . Once documents are verified by City staff, they will be submitted to Dial-A-Ride for approval. Dial-A-Ride cards are issued by a third-party supplier and are not issued by the City of Artesia Parks & Recreation Department. Card issuance may take up to 2-3 weeks for completion and applicants will be unable to use the service until they received their cards.
