Passports
The City of Artesia is an authorized U.S. Passport Acceptance Facility. We provide passport services to all eligible American citizens using Form DS-11 by appointment only.
Monday through Wednesday from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. To schedule an appointment, please call (562) 865-6262 ext. 0.

All applicants, including children, must appear in person to apply for a passport. Please ensure you arrive at your scheduled appointment on time with all necessary documentation, including the completed Form DS-11 and payment ready for both fees.

FEES
Passport Fees (English)
Applicants must bring two (2) separate payments.
1) Passport Fees are paid to the “U.S. Department of State” in check or money order only per applicant. Please refer to the document at this link for the fees.
2) Passport execution fee ($35.00/per applicant) is paid to the “City of Artesia”. The city accepts cash, checks, or credit cards (Visa or MasterCard). Please note that there is a 3% convenience fee for any debit or credit card payment.

Aplicantes deben traer dos (2) pagos separados.
1) El costo de solicitud se paga al “U.S. Department of State” mediante cheque o giro postal únicamente. Consulte el documento en este enlace para conocer las tarifas.
2) El pago de tramitación de pasaporte ($35.00 por aplicante) se paga a la “City of Artesia”. La ciudad acepta efectivo, cheques o tarjetas de crédito (Visa o MasterCard). Tenga en cuenta que existe una tarifa de conveniencia del 3 % para cualquier pago con tarjeta de débito o crédito.
PASSPORT RENEWALS
Most passport renewals can be completed by mail. If your most recent passport book and/or passport card was issued within the last 15 years and you were over 16 years of age at the time of issuance, you may qualify for a self-service renewal using Form DS-82.
To verify your eligibility, please visit www.travel.state.gov and select the "Renew by Mail" option. If you are not eligible to use Form DS-82, applicants must apply in person using Form DS-11.
EMERGENCY PASSPORTS
Applicants who urgently need to travel to a foreign country in the next 14 calendar days or need a foreign visa within 28 calendar days must make an appointment with the Los Angeles Passport Agency at (877) 487-2778. Proof of travel is required, and only those with an appointment will be admitted to the agency.
