Have you heard… we are in a Drought! Southern California is entering its third consecutive dry year with major reservoir records at an all-time low. More alarming, Southern California’s water allocation from the State Water Project has been cut to 0%. As residents of Southern California, it is imperative that we conserve our water supplies because of the possible reality that drought conditions may persist into the next rainy season. Regardless of this possibility becoming a reality, there is one truth – we need to conserve water NOW.
If you have a 3.5 gallon or more toilet, it’s time to replace it with a 1.2 or less gallon per flush toilet. Rebates are available through Central Basin Municipal Water District.
