Come join us at the 2nd Annual City of Artesia 5K Run/Walk! The goal of our event is to promote health and fitness in the Artesia Community! We invite you to run or walk our event, meet new friends, and enjoy our Health & Wellness expo afterwards, featuring food truck, vendors, giveaways, and more! Event is rain or shine!

Registration

Registration begins Monday, July 21st, 2025 at 8:00 am and is for ages 5 & up!

Race fees: $38.10 (includes registration processing fees, race t-shirt, participation medal, chip timing/run bib, and Health & Wellness Expo)

Race Bib Pickup

Thursday, November 13th and Friday November 14th at the Albert O. Little Community Center at Artesia Park (18750 Clarkdale Avenue.) from 5:00 PM- 8:00 PM. Runners can also pick up their race bibs on the morning of the race on November 15th until 6:30am!

Road Closures & No Parking Areas

There will be road closures in and around Artesia on the morning of November 15, 2025. Please see below for the roads that are closed. Estimated time of closure and re-opening is 4:00am-10:00am.

Northbound Clarkdale Avenue from South Street to 187th Street
Westbound 187th Street to Pioneer Boulevard
Northbound Pioneer Boulevard from 187th Street to 178th Street
Eastbound 178th Street from Pioneer Boulevard to Elaine Avenue
Northbound Elaine Avenue from 178th Street to Artesia Boulevard
Eastbound Artesia Boulevard from Elaine Avenue to Norwalk Boulevard
Southbound Norwalk Street from Artesia Boulevard to Ashworth Street
Eastbound Ashworth Street from Norwalk Boulevard to Elaine Avenue
Southbound Elaine Avenue from Ashworth Street to South Street
Westbound South Street from Elaine Avenue to Clarkdale Avenue

No Parking Zones will be marked as “No Parking – Tow Away Zones” along the route.
Please adhere to the dates and times posted.

Elaine Avenue parking lot at Artesia Park is the only parking area available for the event and will be monitored closely to ensure proper usage. Once the race begins at 7am, the lot will be off limits to all traffic until the race is over at approximately 10:00am.

Vendors

Vendors are welcome to register for a booth at our Health & Wellness event. Please download our vendor application and return to the Artesia Park Office or email to us at recreation@cityofartesia.us.
