Artesia Senior Club

Meetings are on Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and could include bingo, poetry, reading, music, folk songs, cultural programs, guest speakers, potlucks, and excursions. Get involved to help plan.

Holiday Luncheons & Celebrations

The City of Artesia hosts 3 holiday luncheons for Seniors (60 years of age or older) annually, as follows: 

• Christmas
• Easter
• Thanksgiving

Holiday luncheons require advance registration. No phone registrations are permitted. Luncheon suggested donation is $2.25 for seniors. A $5 donation suggested for all others. Doors open at 10 a.m., and luncheon tickets must be presented at the door for admission.

Senior Bingo

Bingo cards are $0.25 per card. Prizes are groceries.

Meetings are on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Senior Excursions

Seniors are encouraged to join in fun and exciting low cost excursions to a variety of places to see flower shows, shopping, festivals, the theater, and much more.

Senior Portuguese Social Hour

Meetings are on the first Friday of each month from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and include bingo, poetry, reading, music, folk songs, guest speakers, potlucks, and excursions.
