Voyage of Odysseus: Family Storytelling Concert At Artesia Public Library
Artesia Public Library is pleased to present “Voyage of Odysseus,” part of the storytelling concert series featuring Enrichment Works! Follow along on this voyage as King Odysseus bids farewell and with the audience, travels through the world of Greek Mythology, to Troy and beyond.
“Voyage of Odysseus” will be presented at the library at 18722 Clarkdale Avenue in Artesia; Wednesday afternoon, January 11, 2006; beginning promptly at 3:30 p.m. Please join us, celebrate, and learn more about our stories, our communities and ourselves.

Book Club Selection: “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time”
Join us for our next book club
meeting on Tuesday, January 10, 2006 at 11:00am where we will be discussing
“The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time” by Mark Haddon.
Despite his overwhelming fear of interacting with people, Christopher, a mathematically-gifted, autistic fifteen-year-old boy, decides to investigate the murder of a neighbor’s dog and uncovers secret information about his mother.
The Artesia Library holds a book club meeting on the second Tuesday of each month at 11:00am. Everyone is invited to participate. Copies of book club selections are available at the library.
