How to Contest a Parking Ticket

Step 1


If you want to dispute a citation:

• Contact ETEC at (800) 654-7275
• Write a letter to ETEC, give as much information as possible and justify why you are innocent. Mail the letter to:

Parking Enforcement Center

Inglewood, CA 90312

 

ETEC will review the letter and information, and contact the supervisor of parking control. The supervisor will review ETEC’s recommendations and determine judgment.

Step 2


If this is unsuccessful and you wish to continue contesting the ticket, request a review to ETEC. A mediator will be sent out to review the information and meet with the plaintiff. The mediator will judge from the information given from both parties, and will not be affiliated with either the City or the plaintiff.
