Former Major Leaguers Participate in Youth Baseball Softball Event

Women Depicted in “League of Their Own”, -- Former Major Leaguers -- Participate to participate in Youth Baseball and Softball Event

The event schedule for Saturday, April 1, is from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. as follows:

8 to 9:30 a.m. – Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser (sponsored by the Artesia Baseball Parent Group

10 to 10:30 a.m.- Youth Baseball and Softball Ceremony (Dignitaries and Guest Speaker Rudy Law, Former Dodger)

11 a.m. to 12 p.m. – Free One-Day Youth Clinic (The Clinic is offered by New Life Sports Clinics & Programs. Some former Major League players will provide instruction for children. Additionally, you can meet the lady players depicted in the movie “A League of Their Own”).
