Celebrate Earth with Los Cerritos Center
Electronic Recyclers joins center to make disposal of items easier than ever
WHO:
Los Cerritos Center teams up with Electronic Recyclers to host an electronic recycling event.
WHAT:
As a way to celebrate and preserve planet Earth, Los Cerritos Center is collecting old and damaged televisions, plasma screens, computer monitors, laptops and LCD screens on April 28. Electronic Recyclers, the largest recycler of electronic waste in the state of California will collect all of the material and recycle it in an environmentally safe manner.
It is illegal to simply throw an unwanted television or computer monitor in the trash in California. Electronic items have toxic elements that are environmentally hazardous when they are dumped into landfills. By law, such products must now be recycled properly and in ways that won’t harm the environment—Los Cerritos Center is here to help!
WHEN:
Saturday, April 28 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
WHERE:
Los Cerritos Center, 239 Los Cerritos Center, Cerritos, CA 90703
Guests can enter the parking lot off Gridley Road next to the Chick-fil-A
drive thru.
WHY:
The electronic recycling event at Los Cerritos Center provides an opportunity for the business and residential community to clean out old electronic waste taking up room in a garage or office. Properly disposing electronic waste is a great way to celebrate Earth!
