Second Annual Chili Cook-Off Contest

 

You are invited to participate in the fun and exciting 2nd Annual Artesia Chili Cook-Off set for Wednesday, July 4, 2007. The event will be held at Artesia Park at 18750 Clarkdale Avenue. The park is located at the corner of South Street and Clarkdale.

The Artesia Chili Cook-Off is held in conjunction with the American Heritage Event on July 4 and offers a full day of activities including children’s games and entertainment, annual volleyball tournament, annual over-the-line tournament, adult bingo, live bands, and food.

We offer chili cookers an exciting environment to show off their culinary creativity. Trophies and plaques will also be awarded to the top contestants for both official judging and a People’s Choice Award.

Enclosed is an application packet with all the information you need to apply. Please mail your entry packet back by June 1, 2007. Booth space is limited and given on a first-come, first-serve basis. Confirmation packets will be mailed to all participants.
