Apply for Passports at City Hall
The City of Artesia will be participating as a passport provider beginning May 26, 2005. Passports can be obtained through the Finance Department through appointment only, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.

Passport Fees (as of July 13, 2010)
Adult Passport - $135.00 ($110 Passport fee, $25 execution fee)
Minors Passport - $105.00 ($80 Passport fee, $25 execution fee)
Adult Passport Card - $55.00 ($30 Card fee, $25 execution fee)
Minors Passport Card - $40.00 ($15 Card fee, $25 execution fee)

When coming to Artesia City Hall you will need to bring the following:

Valid driver’s license

Original birth certificate

Two recent 2” x 2” color photographs, full faced with plain white or off-white background.
- Will need two forms of payment (check or money order to the Department of State for passport fee and check or cash to the City of Artresia for execution fee).

Passports may take up to 8 weeks to process. If you need one sooner you may pay an additional $60 to expedite the process, and will receive a passport in about 2 weeks.
Passports are processed by appointment only, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
