Veterans Day Photo Contest
Celebrate Veteran’s Day with the City of Artesia
by entering photos which display what it means to be an American to you.
All entered photos will be on display at the Freedom Is Not Free Veterans Day Event on November 10, 2007. Awards will be presented to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners and winning photos will be posted on the city web page.
The following is a list of rules :
Who may enter:
Photos will be divided into two competition
categories: 17 & under and 18 & over.
What types of photographs are eligible:
Any photo of people, places or things can be entered. Please remember the theme of the contest: “What does it mean to be an American to you?”
What formats should the photograph be in:
Black & White and Color photos are accepted. A hard copy print must be submitted in either 4x6, 5x7 or 8x10 format.
What to submit with your photograph:
Fill out the enclosed Entry Form and Waiver (if applicable) and turn in with your entry. Attach a label on the back of the photo and state the name, address and age of the photographer. Also include a brief description of the photo and how it relates to the contest theme.
Submit photographs by October 22, 2007. Mail or deliver materials to: Attn: Photo Contest, 18750 Clarkdale, Artesia, CA 90701. Each contestant may submit up to three
photographs.
