Tree trimming scheduled for Artesia's 'District Three'


This year, tree trimming will be done within District 3 (click map to see a larger version), which is the area between Pioneer and Norwalk Blvds., and Artesia Blvd. and 183rd Street.

Usually, this maintenance is performed on two or more districts each year.  This year is different because of State raids on city money, and the necessity to cut back on various programs because of these raids.

Next year, the City plans to go back to previous tree trimming schedules (usually two or three districts annually).

All trees in other areas of Artesia will be trimmed on an as-needed basis.  Please call (562) 865-6262 to request tree trimming, or make a service request on the city website.
