Shoppers buy 19-inch HDTV for 99 cents!
"97, 98, 99!" That was the "count-up" (from 90 to 99) before Artesia City Council and 99 Cents Only Store representatives shouted out during the ribbon cutting ceremony at the store's grand opening on August 13.

Nine lucky customers won the opportunity purchase a 19-inch HDTV for 99 cents. Many of them were camped out since August 11 in order to get the television.

Two Artesia residents, Venerald Pureza and Irene Relosimon, won the opportunity to purchase the HDTV.
