Senior Fair 2009

On September 2, from 9 a.m. to 12, receive free health screenings for body fat, blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol, bone density and more. The Senior Fair will be in Artesia Park, at 18750 Clarkdale Avenue.

Receive free information and legal advice regarding elder abuse, housing, home equity fraud, benefits and more.

Consult with agencies such as the Social Security Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs, and senior advocacy organizations.

Congresswoman Linda Sanchez, who is hosting the event, will give an update on legislation in Congress affecting seniors, such as Social Security, Medicare, and prescription drugs.
