Over the past 12 months, Artesia's Planning Department had a boost of help from a hard-working planning intern named Razilee Tadeo.

Tadeo graduated in March 2010 from Cal Poly with a degree in Urban and Regional Planning. Her last day was October 11.

"I learned alot about community development, and the government process," said Tadeo. "I really enjoyed working with the staff, too."

Tadeo's next step is to work for Americorp, a nonprofit organization dedicated to community development and service across America.
