'Gearing Up' for Public Safety Expo
Artesia’s Public Safety Expo is an event meant to provide information about the agencies that provide public safety to our community in a fun and interesting way. The event will be held on March 7 at Artesia Park, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The event starts off with a bicycle safety ride for children from A.J. Padelford Park to Artesia Park, along with some deputies to escort the cyclists and provide bicycle safety instruction.
This year the Expo falls on Artesia’s 50th Anniversary, and will reflect the 50’s theme that will be accompanied with all city events.
