Parks get new playgrounds
Construction for new playgrounds has been completed at A.J. Padelford and Artesia Parks.
The playgrounds are the result of a $220,000 grant from the California Clean Water, Clean Air, Safe Neighborhood Parks, and Coastal Protection Act of 2002, which replaced playground equipment at Artesia and A.J. Padelford Parks.
While A.J. Padelford Park's playground is almost ready for use, the playground at Artesia Park (upper left) will undergo some further landscaping aroiund it, which will be finished soon.
