Painting addresses on curbs
When the time comes, the City of Artesia will approve of only one organization to paint Artesia's curbs. But that time is not yet here yet.
The City will make all residents aware when this project begins again.
Recently, an independent painter painted addresses and asked for donations afterward. To repeat, the painting of curb addresses is only authorized by the city. If anyone approaches you after painting your address, please contact City hall.
The City is on a two-year cycle regarding curb painting. It won't be until next year that curbs are scheduled to be painted again.
If you are aware that a group or individual is soliciting curb painting in the City, please contact the City of Artesia Code Enforcement Department at (562) 865-6262 or the local Sheriff's Department at (562) 623-3500.
