Get rid of excess junk, "E" Waste, or Hazardous Waste
The City of Artesia, in conjunction with Consolidated Disposal Service, is holding our fourth annual "Just Dump It" (legally) Campaign on July 11, starting at 8 a.m. This will be a drive-thru type of event.
We will be accepting bulky items and excess junk at three locations and hazardous waste/Ewaste at one. Hazardous waste/Ewaste dropoff is open to all L.A. County residents.
Hazardous/Ewaste includes motor oil, oil filters, brake fluid, paint, paint thinner, turpentine, cleaners with acids or lye, pesticides, herbicides, household and car batteries, pool chemicals, outdated medications, electronics (i.e. TV's, computers, cell phones), flourescent light tubes, light bulbs, mercury-containing items.
NO TIRES TO BE ACCEPTED.
An operator will be available to answer questions, please call (562) 860-3361 during the event for questions. An ID and a utility bill is required.
Three dropoffs for bulky items, 8 a.m. to noon
1. A.J. Padelford Park, 11870 169th Street
2. Artesia Park, 18750 Clarkdale Avenue
3. Burbank Elementary, 17711 Roseton Avenue.
One dropoff for Hazardous/Ewaste, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
1. City Yard, 18803 Corby Avenue
