Friends of Artesia

A California Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation


The principal office for the transaction of the business of the corporation shall be located at 18747 Clarkdale Avenue, Artesia, California 90701. 

The board of directors may change the principal office from one location to another.  Any change of the location shall be noted by the secretary on these Bylaws opposite this section, or this section may be amended to state the new location.

This corporation is a nonprofit public benefit corporation and is not organized for hte private gain of any person.  It is organized under the Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation Law for public and charitable purposes. 

In the context of these purposes, the corporation shall provide community public benefit facilities and programs, including but not limited to cultural, recreational and educational programs, on a charitable and nondiscriminatory basis for the people of the community of Artesia, California and its surrounding environs and carry on other charitable and educational activities associated with these goals as allowed by law.
