Election postponed to 2009

The L.A. County Board of Supervisors took action on November 5 to approve Artesia’s request to change the General Municipal Election date to coincide with the regular election of the ABC Unified School District and the Cerritos Community College District to be held on November 3, 2009.

Registered voters in Artesia will receive a postcard notifying them of the change in the election date. This postcard was mailed out during the week of December 1 to meet the provisions of the elections code, and will be translated in English and Korean with Tagalog available in the City Clerk’s office.
