It would be interesting to see this empty lines converted into recreational areas (similar to Bellflower), it can easily add things like Bike-trails, playgrounds, green/resting areas, gardens, walking/running trails, community farms. The line even connects the north to the south of the city although shared by Cerritos at some points, but the section between 183rd and south seems rather perfect for a project like this specially been mostly residential area and making almost contact with Artesia Park while passing Pionner blvd. The other end in the north is the Cerritos Center Mall corner. This type of project can benefit Artesia residents at many levels, from beautification of their neighborhood to prevention of vandalism, with plenty of pedestrians and cyclists, it could add a pathway away from the big streets. All of this in turn can benefit the Businesses around Artesia.

Have a bike path that takes cyclists through the Best of Artesia. This will include highlighting local businesses, city property and feature local attractions under one program. This will spur local spending within the city, improve community relations and attract positive media opportunities.

They recently added a bike lane/Fire Zone across from 11446 Artesia Blvd. I am proposing that it be removed. Because of this, it has caused problems for the business across the street. People have to park as far away as Roseton St, since there is limiting parking on the other side of the street. Please lets remove the fire zone from across the street.

I am a very concerned resident. For over three (3) years I have been complaining about the overgrown tree/root in front of my house. This is a sidewalk that many people use to walk/jog. The cement is cracked and raised causing a very serious hazard with potential to cause serious injuries. As the tree grows so does the root. It is now invading my property. I see the cement cracking and rising. Moreover, I am very concerned with what this will do to the foundation and pipes under my house. I already had a water leak due to a pipe that burst. My service requests are being ignored.

To reduce traffic congestion and improve flow of traffic to what it once was prior to the one-lane construction, my suggestion is to revert it back to a two-lane street and eliminate the promenade where no construction has taken place. Traffic congestion will be further increased if the promenade is built. There are many other areas in Artesia to consider if to build additional shops or pedestrian walkways or parks.

Is so weird knowing we're living in very risky neighborhood we can't invest in surveillance cameras that will solve many issues with you know
