Artesia Boulevard Specific Plan

Artesia Blvd. will soon be undergoing major redevelopment, through the preparation of a Specific Plan that establishes and strengthens the land use, zoning, and future development for the commercial corridor.

The scope of work for this project includes an analysis of the area's strengths, weaknesses and opportunities; several community workshops for all stakeholders (property owners, businesses and citywide residents); a traffic analysis; a utility and infrastructure review; development of land use alternatives; design guidelines; landscape and architectural concept plans; development standards; a phasing and implementation plan; and presentations to the Planning Commission and City Council/Redevelopment Agency Board.
