Former mayors, councilmembers dine at 50th
Anniversary Jubilee dinner
Former Artesia mayors and councilmembers congregated at the Albert O. Little Community Center to reminisce, and celebrate the City of Artesia’s 50 years of incorporation.
At the Jubilee, keynote speakers talked about a particular story that stood out during a certain decade.
Former mayors and councilmembers who attended were Former Mayors attended: John Lyon, Isidro Menezes, Timothy Kelemen, Rodney Stach, Dennis Fellows, Larry Nelson (currently on the city council as well), John Martins (also currently on the city council), and the current mayor Sally Flowers.
Current councilmembers who attended were Tony Lima and Victor Manal
Assemblymember Tony Mendoza, also a former Artesia mayor, also attended the Jubilee.
