"Just Dump It" (legally)
Are you tired of storing that huge refrigerator that doesn't even work?
Do you have excess junk that you don't know what to do with?
Well, this is your chance! The City of Artesia, in conjunction with your trash company, Consolidated Disposal Service, is holding their first "Just Dump It" (legally) Campaign on Saturday, July 22, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
With an ID card and a utility bill, Artesia residents can drop off bulky items and excess junk at four locations throughout the city, so look for the one closest to you. If you are unable to drop it off yourself, let us know and we can arrange something. There will also be one location to dump hazardous waste. Bring hazardous waste and Ewaste to the one designated spot on Corby (address below)
The four regular drop off points are:
- Artesia Park, 18750 Clarkdale Ave.
- Cerritos Presbyterian Church, 11841 178th Street
- Burbank Elementary School, 17711 Roseton Ave.
- !84th Street between Alburtis and Corby
Ewaste and hazardous waste should be dropped off at the Public Works Yard on 18803 Corby Ave. Ewaste is anything that is electronic or electric in nature, such as TVs, cell phones, computers. Some examples of hazardous waste is brake fluid, paint, household batteries, pool chemicals, motor oil, etc. Please do not bring radioactive or business waste.

This is event is for Artesia residents only, an ID card and a utility bill is required upon drop-off.
