USCG Number for Rescue of Hurricane Victims


OES has received calls from relatives of
people who are unable to get through to local authorities
-- trapped by flooding in need of rescue. Per the FEMA Warning Center, a special rescue line
has been established. The line is run by the US Coast Guard, who will provide immediate assistance. The USCG number is 800-323-7233.

Please refer persons calling on behalf of trapped friends and relations who need rescue to this line.
