Emergency Graffiti Removal Hotline Re-Established
The City of Artesia is re-establishing a 24-hour telephone hotline for community members to call for removal of graffiti to provide after-hour and holiday schedule hours. The Hotline is staffed with an attendant who answers calls and deploys Public Works crews. Callers are asked to provide detailed information about the location of the graffiti to the answering service. The City's policy is to remove graffiti in public areas, and certain other areas visible from public rights-of-way, within 24 hours of its report to the City hotline.
