L.A. County Tire Recycling Event – August 27th – Offers Gifts


Help keep L.A. County cleaner by bringing used tires to the Waste Tire Recycling event in West Covina, on Sat., August 27, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

As a thank you gift for all who bring used tires, participants will receive a coupon good for 15 percent off their next purchase at Firestone or Bridgestone tires, and additionally, a coupon from Krispy Kreme Doughnuts (buy one dozen, get another dozen glazed for 99 cents).

Those participants who enter the drawing will have a chance to win four free tickets to an upcoming auto race at the Irwindale Speedway.

This event is open to L.A. County residents. Tires from businesses, oversized tires, and tractor tires will not be accepted. Please remove rims. If planning to bring nine or more tires, please obtain a tire transport form a week ahead of the event at (626) 430-5540, Department of Health Services.
