Unhitched Trailers

Permitting unhitched trailers


Artesia will issue permits to owners of unhitched recreational trailers (UHR) four times per year for the purpose of loading or unloading.

The permit process will identify those UHRs that are in compliance with traffic codes and insurance requirements to prevention parking citations.

The requirements are:

1. Current registration

2. Signed application and release/hold harmless agreement
