City parks upgraded via grant
Artesia received a $220,000 grant from the California Clean Water, Clean Air, Safe Neighborhood Parks, and Coastal Protection Act of 2002, that will replace playground equipment at Artesia and A.J. Padelford Parks.
The images here is a mock-up of the equipment to bge installed at Artesia Park.
These playgrounds are a hybrid play system which is universally accessible for children of all abilities.
The project is expected to be completed early this year.
