City encounters more curb painting imposters
Recently, an individual has been canvassing homes, requesting payment or donations to paint street addresses on curbs. Please report these people as soon as you’ve been approached.
Last year, a group called Canning Hunger – a nonprofit hunger relief organization - was authorized by the City Council to repaint the curbs. All curbs should have already been painted last year. If, for some reason, you believe that your curb needs to be painted, please contact the City.
If any group or individual offers to paint your curb address, please refuse their services and contact either the City or the sheriffs. The Sheriffs non-emergency number is (562) 623-3500.
