Cracking down on alley dumping
Alley dumping has become a bane to Artesia's alleys.

"Alley dumping" is a term referring to the act of placing large items, i.e. furniture, in in alleys with the expectation that they will be picked up.

While they will be picked up, th eCity has increased its efforts in tracking, citing, and prosecuting individuals or organizations responsible for alley dumping.

As an alternative, one can call Consolidated Disposal Services at (562) 347-2105. They will pick up the bulky item at the next trash pick-up day.
