Join City of Artesia on Facebook, Youtube, and Nixle


Artesia is keeping up with the times, and is utilizing social media to assist in its efforts to keep citizens informed with important news and upcoming events and programs.

 

First, Artesia has signed up with Nixle, which gives Artesia the opportunity to send text or Email messages to registered users.  If you’re interested in getting a quick recap of a council meeting, or learning about upcoming events and programs, visit www.cityofartesia.us and register. 

The registration box is on the right-hand side.  Alternatively, one can also register at www.nixle.com and choose to receive messages from City of Artesia.  The advantage of the latter is that inputting a cell phone number is not mandatory.  Registration is free.

 

Artesia also has a Facebook page, where Facebook users can receive updates from the City.  Simply ‘like’ the page, and you’ll begin to receive information and updates as they come.  Our Facebook page features plenty of photos from various events and programs, and you might be featured in one of those events.  Simply search “City of Artesia” and ‘Like’ the page.

 

Artesia also has an official Youtube page at youtube.com/cityofartesia, which was used to a lesser extent in the past, just to host a few videos.  We will be utilizing this page far more often.

 

For the latter two, be wary of Artesia’s Comment Policy, which is posted on both the Youtube and Facebook page.
